Chambres d'hôtes de Charme en Provence

Guest house in Vaucluse

Be somewhere else in a guest house in Provence

Catherine invites you to her guest house, Esclériade, in the heart of Vaucluse in the ‘Provence des Papes’, a land rich in history, full of the aromas of lavender, wine and olives. In the immediate vicinity of Vaison la Romaine, the guest house urges you to have a unique and unforgettable stay, full of discoveries, wonderful moments to share and great encounters.

Esclériade guest house opens onto a magnificent typically Provençal landscape, dominated in the distance by the majesty of mythical Mont Ventoux and enhanced by the ruins of the castle of Entrechaux.

The garden of the guest house, glorified by the exceptional light of the countryside around Vaison-la-Romaine, spreads out in terraces and offers you, all year round, an explosion of blooms and scents.

As the air vibrates to the sound of cicadas and a few woodpeckers here and there, sit down on a stone bench, in the shade of an olive tree, a fig tree or a vine trimmed pergola, or take advantage of the the heated swimming pool, bathed by a sun which shines for more than 300 days a year.

In the evening, under a starry sky of incomparable purity, your eyes still dazzled by the magic landscapes visited earlier and your body carried away by healthy pursuits or strolls, let your mind slowly wander, lulled by the whispers of the River Ouvèze.

Join Catherine’s table d’hôtes (every wednesday in high season), where the cosy atmosphere blends wonderfully with the flavours on the menu before going back to one of the five bedrooms of Escleriade, comfortably appointed to offer you utmost tranquillity.

Only then, will you understand why, at Escleriade, you undoubtedly are ... somewhere else.
